Spirit of Burgas - "Spirit of Burgas" is an annual summer music festival, which is held on the Central Beach, Sea Garden Burgas.

The first edition of the Burgas MTV festival Spirit of Burgas took place from 15 to 17 August 2008 and gathered thirty thousand music lovers from Bulgaria, England, Poland, Romania and Turkey.

The festival is held on an area of ​​58 thousand square meters, including stages, bars, VIP area, press area, dressing rooms for performers, dance areas and more.

Spirit of Burgas becomes the first event of its kind in the country, offering a variety of scenes with diverse performers and musical genres. He was nominated for "Best European Festival" at the UK Festival Awards in 2008 and in the "Best Overseas Festival" category in 2009. Then the event is listed by the Times as one of the 20 best festival destinations, and its program has been distributed on the European MTV network in 16 countries. Spirit of Burgas also found its place in the list of nominees for "Best Medium Sized Festival" at the first European Festival Awards in January 2010.

The festival is relatively young, but on its unique stage, dozens of jazz bands have already managed to show their talent. Part of the "Jazz in Burgas" experience were both the best Bulgarian jazz musicians and world-famous jazz musicians from the USA, Spain, Cuba, Romania, Germany.

The Jazz in Burgas Festival also received international recognition. The music event was awarded the European Festival Badge for the period 2017-2018. To distinguish it, it was necessary to go through several stages and evaluation by a professional commission. The results of Label 2017-2018 were announced by the International Jury, chaired by Sir Jonathan Mills.
"Europe for the festivals, the festivals for Europe" / EFFE / is a label and international recognition for remarkable festivals and ranks "Jazz in Burgas" to world jazz events such as Malta Jazz Festival, the French D'Jazz Nevers and others.

The International Festival "Puppet Days" is held for the first time in August 2014 on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the State Puppet Theater - Burgas. The festival is annual and is organized in the summer. For 8 consecutive evenings on the open stage "Snail" professional troupes from the country and abroad attract audiences of all ages. Traditionally, on the last day of the festival, a parade of kites is held under the title "Let's color the sky of Burgas".
